Lately we've been going on a lot of last minute weekend trips...which means I need to be able to pack a bag fast, and without the fear that I'm leaving something behind. What I end up packing? My favorite basics and a fun necklace and scarf and forget the rest. Here is what has been turning into my summer uniform:
1. chambray shirt, 2. eyelet blouse, 3 & 4. denim shorts, 5. cropped white pants, 6. dark denim, 7. gray shirt, 8. tank, 9. wedges, 10. gold sandals, 11. chuck taylors, 12. necklace
Depending on the weekend, I will also throw in a maxi dress or maxi skirt.
What have been some of your favorite summer basics that you could pack in a pinch?
Also, my number one tip when it comes to trips away? No matter how tired you are, or how late it is, unpack your bag immediately. Otherwise your suitcase could end up unpacked for days! Happened to me recently... and I avoided the suitcase like the plague until I finally had to break down and unpack it!
I'm heading off for a long trip next week, and am planning to pack as light as possible... ha, we'll see how this goes!
