I'm hoping these images get me back on track with my closet...
{maximizing space by adding shelving above a door gives you more room for accessories}
I think we've all seen this one a few times...but I still not only love the entire room, but everything in it
{Jenna Lyons}
and love this idea of cork on a closet wall...

Can you imagine the outfit inspiration getting ready in this closet?

Not a closet, but there are still heels and shoe boxes tucked away in shelves...

I'm getting a bit closer to getting started now...
Just made-over my own closet! Love it so much more now.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'd never seen the Jenna Lyons room with the two chests in the middle of the room, only with the settee. Let's be honest... she probably has about 8 more of those clothes racks that are just not pictured. At least.
Good luck!
Alaina
I know, right? Her dressing room is insane! To have even one of those racks...
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your closet! I was floored by Alaina's post on her own dressing room! It makes me aware of my desperate need for a more adequate closet :( I'm obsessing over her space and just my have to post on it! I'm sure yours will be fab!!
ReplyDeleteHoly Smokes Alaina! That is gnarly! You have a freakin dressing room in your house! Chic Geek, I do not have anything like this coming up. I have a tiny little closet that I need to purge clothes from and maybe add a board. Nothing like that! It's unreal.
ReplyDeleteI just hopped, skipped over to Live Creating Yourself and my jaw almost fell on the floor when i checked out Alaina's closet - it's awesome - me likey! A lot!!!
ReplyDeleteThose piccies definitely get you into 'organise' mode though. I need to get all the summer pieces out for show as the it's hot as Hades in Greece!
Thanks for the inspiration girlies!
Yes, please...I'll take on of each closet! Good luck on yours!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think alaina has us all beat on this one! But it does inspire my to get what I do have in order. I'll be looking for your post Carlee you're always able to transform a space not matter the size!
ReplyDeleteYour inspiration pics are terrific...I hope it helps! I have been staring at mine for weeks trying to select a wallpaper and a rug and fancy it up a bit but it's so much easier said than done! Never get tired of seeing Jenna Lyons spaces!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Closets = Heaven.
ReplyDeleteWorking w a client tomorrow on converting her walk-in to a nursery. Should be fun!

This is some serious inspiration. Now I kind of want to makeover mine...
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to have a space like one of these!
ReplyDeleteI love the first closet. Problem is, I wouldn't have enough merchandise to put in it.
ReplyDeleteUm, UH-MAZING. Of course, wouldn't we all have incredible closets if we had that much space to work with. =)

Such pretty closets!
ReplyDeleteMy Real Simple came yesterday, made me think of you. It's about organizing according to your personality type. You should do a post on that...we're not all as type A as some of you:)
ReplyDeleteI love these and certainly would take any one of them. However, I know at this phase in my life--and because I share a closet with my husband--it just ain't gonna happen :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful inspiration! The cork is a fantastic idea, and I can never get enough of Jenna Lyon's closet - it is my dream. Couldn't help but do a bit of window shopping as I was looking at each of your images. I'll take that, and that and that and . . .
ReplyDeleteI hope your week is going well and good luck on getting started on your closet organizing! =)
Can't wait to see your closet complete! I need to get on it myself!!
ReplyDeleteOh boy!! That first pic is amazing. I love shelving over and around doors.... have been hankering after some library shelves like that since I can remember, but what a fab idea for the closet too!
ReplyDeleteLinda. :)
I love closets ---- and I've had some great ones. I really want to improve the one I have as one of the previous owners did a good job organizing the space - yet none of the shelves are movable. Not so good for the larger purses. But, I'm always happy to see inspiration ---- I'll come back and revisit these images, I'm sure!!
ReplyDeleteI just saw Alaina's dressing room - wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing spaces.. I wish I had more room! But, less room makes me keep only what I wear in there.. it's my secret way of staying organized! xx
ReplyDeleteThese are perfect inspiration! My closet is too small for any of them but I work with what I have! :)
ReplyDeleteLove all of these!
ReplyDeleteI'd die for a closet/room. These are great! Love the blog, so glad I found it.
ReplyDelete:) Marcie
love the idea of a closet/dressing room! wish i had enough space for one.
ReplyDeleteCloset perfection, I just want that entire room "closet"! I would probably always be in there!
ReplyDeleteI really can't get enough of looking at beautiful closets... such good inspiration! and - it has been such a whirlwind, I am pretty sure I congratulated you on the engagement, but in case I didn't - CONGRATS! I can't wait to hear about the process - even though you don't totally enjoy it, I am sure we all would love to hear about it!
