Weekend Recap

It has yet to stop raining since last week, so I figured I would find an indoor activity for the weekend.  I finally made it out to this fabric store that Christine over at Design Esquire posted about!  I got there late in the day on Saturday and they closed at 5:30...the staff might have had to drag me out {they said it happens all the time}.  I took some pictures on my cell phone, but head on over to Christine's blog for the full write up.  It's insane.

Before I was dragged out, I asked to have a few things cut.  There was only a little bit of the Greek key trim left, so I snatched up a bit:

I was going to cover a bench in this:

{on the left} but it seems I need just a bit more...I'm sure I'll find a use for it.  Bottom line about this fabric store: If you live in or around Boston, I highly suggest taking a trip out to this place!

On my way back I stopped at Home Goods. Very Dangerous.  All of my pics are from my phone on this journey...forgive me.  But the pillows on the left are a bright orange.

I had the orange in my cart and then put them back after having a little talk with myself....

and I wanted to paint this mirror:

would love to reupholster this:

Anyway, I think we all know there are a ton of scores there!

Last stop was anthro. adore their Spring visuals...

ended up with this pitcher:

it was significantly on sale and I had been eyeing it for a while.  love it.

There are hints in this post about this weeks series.  I will be back tomorrow with week 2 and a small giveaway!

  13. That's it. I am coming to Boston JUST TO GO TO THIS FABRIC STORE. I've searched and have thus far had no luck finding anything like this in or around Chicago. Need to put my detective hat on and get serious in my search. Love the vase!
