diy: mornin' coffee scrub
While in Costa Rica for our honeymoon I had an exfoliating coffee body scrub at the resort we were staying at and it was incredible. Left my skin feeling silky smooth and most of all smelled amazing during application. I knew this was something I could whip up once at home, and here is what I came up with (had all these ingredients at home):
equal parts ground coffee & raw sugar
1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
1 tablespoon of sea salt
Always add all the dry ingredients first, and then top it off with the oil. Adding more coffee or sugar to create the consistency you prefer.
Love this stuff, smells so good you'll want to eat it...

ReplyDeleteYes please- This looks sooo good. Pinned it!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try this! How much sugar and coffee (in equal parts) do you use with the amounts of oil listed? Thank you so much for the recipe!
ReplyDeleteI see all your scrubs and they look good but I would like to know the benefits of the different ingrediants for my skin. I realize they soften but are there other benefits (ie coffee, sugar, cinnamon)
