I know this trick isn't a new one, but I've used a cork board covered in fabric to hang my necklaces for years. Recently, I switched out the black fabric that once dressed my board (with nailhead trim) for something a bit lighter. The board used to be in my closet, but the necklaces seemed to fall a lot when we moved our clothes around (beyond annoying to pick up deep in the closet!) so I decided to lean it up against the wall right when you walk into our bedroom...
no fancy hooks here, just some clear tacks.
it is SO much better where it is now- I find myself grabbing necklaces much more often.
- Staple Gun
Cut fabric to fit cork board (iron if necessary), wrap board with fabric and staple away. You could also add a ribbon border, nailhead trim, the options are limitless!
so nice to have them all organized and easily accessible!
