Wedding Invites!

Excited that our invites are being opened by friends and family this week! I think it's safe to post pics now for those that wanted a peek!

Honestly, I spent hours on our invites, well, the designer at Minted.com and I did.  I was lucky enough to have a wonderful designer take all my sloppy power point illustrations and turn them in to something we  I loved! I highly, highly, highly recommend working with Minted.com! Since our wedding colors are coral and navy & white stripes, I wanted to incorporate the colors along with a touch of floral. The backing of both the invite and RSVP card are both stripes, and the coral is worked into the text + flowers.  I took these pics in semi to zero light because SF hasn't seen the sun in a while...so forgive the shot {to see larger, open picture in new tab}.  Also, the coral looks more orange here, but it's definitely coral in person!

Since we would have had to buy multiple (ugly) stamps for the invites, I decided to get them from stamps.com.  I was seriously uneasy about making the purchase without seeing them in person (and confirming that they truly would be usps stamps) but I am so happy with how they turned out!  We used our engagement photographs done by the sweet emily scott from em the gem!
We happen to take a photograph in front of our house during the shoot, so it worked out perfectly on the RSVP envelope!
still so much to do, but again, excited the invites are out!
thanks again to Minted.com!
