a little bit of life lately...

Over the weekend I debated doing a few organizational projects around the house...but I couldn't stay inside. The weather was too perfect in SF.  Here are a few pics from the past couple of weeks (if you follow me on instagram then these are a repeat):

we had a blast on NYE in Napa with dear friends
and had INCREDIBLE food in Napa at the Bounty Hunter.  finger lickin'-couldn't get enough (this is the shredded beer can chicken sandwich) and amazing brunch at Fume Bistro.
made a batch of my favorite (not best for new years resolution diets-so unhealthy) dressing
i've decided i'm going to make an effort to read the magazines that i subscribe to this year.
got a new calendar from rifle paper co. and i love it
new stationery scored on joss & main. can't wait to put pen to paper.
over the weekend we went on a hike in tennesse valley and hung out on the beach all day hunting for rocks & building sandcastles.
meandered around one of my favorite cities-mill valley and saw a perfectly lined up row of wellies
and then spent yesterday making our way down to crissy fields.
and then ended the weekend with warm chocolate chip cookies (healthy eating to start asap, after the cookies are gone, naturally).

best weekend ever.

if you live in an area where the sun came out, were you able to take advantage of it?

  3. We have had a surprisingly mild Winter in Chicago - it's been in the '50s the last few days. I def. found many reasons to get out of the house!

I'm so jealous you went to Napa for NYE! I got married there in October and am posting pics soon!

  5. What a wonderful way to spend the weekend. You're refreshed and ready to conquer those organization projects. I live in Iowa and we are having unseasonably warm weather too! My weekend was split between outside fun and inside organizing!
