pillow talk.

My friend sent me this pillow talk article a few weeks ago.  It determines your style based on your pillow arranging.  I'm not very consistent "styling" my pillows on my bed {the photograph above is of our bedroom in slow progress, see more pics here}, but I do tend to have two larger pillows stacked with one in the middle.  This states that my style is traditional, with a twist.  Although I have to admit, I do love the look of the precisely stacked pillows too. When you have the time to make your bed, what is your pillow style?  Find out here.

  1. I think your bedroom is looking gorgeous! But I am like you and not super consistent with my pillow arranging. =)

  2. I love this! I religiously make my bed each morning and have to organize SIX different pillows. Cna't wait to see what my style is....probably something along the lines of "neurotic nelly"

  4. I do it the same way you do, which is funny because I feel like my style is very traditional. I'd like to read that article.

  5. I always think that mirror does not look real in photos. I thought it in your last house too:)

  6. I am traditional with a twist as well. I use three euro shams. Two standard pillows and then a throw pillow.

  7. Fun to see what your pillows say about you! I'm definitely in the symmetrical category, but with a little decorative and frill. Three layers of pillows for me (3-2-1).

I bet you're not missing Boston with all of this crazy winter weather! My sister always got parking tickets for having her car in the wrong spot when they came through with the plow!

    Have a great day!

  12. I guess I'm traditional with a twist but I've never really thought of myself that way!

On a side note, I've got that same Pottery Barn pattern (the peacock on your pillow) in my bedroom (in the form of drapery) too :)
