If I'm in the market and smell gardenias, lilies, tuberose, etc. immediately a smile will go across my face and I find myself walking towards the flower section. There's something intoxicating about the smell of freshly cut flowers. I took a gardenia home with me a few days ago, and every time I walk by it I'm reminded that spring is right around the corner {although san francisco has had a bit of a warm winter here, a big change from Boston...BUT I miss the snow too}. Soon the trees will fill up with beautiful cherry blossoms {as seen here} that I can never get enough of.
What's your favorite flower, based on the fragrance only?
I love herb smells almost more than flower smells. I loooooove cilantro
ReplyDeleteI get an immediate swell in my heart when i smell Tuberose as they were in my wedding bouquet - i love when they are in season and you only need a few to make a room smell amazing! love gardenia too.

I love freesia! I just used some in the bouquet I blogged about below, and it reminded me how great they smell. Similar to roses, but better!
