cupcake city.

Just got back into town from NY or as I'm calling it, cupcake city.  I managed to have quite a few cupcakes in the 48 hours that I was there.  I will hopefully post a short recap at some point this week...but for now, here is a shot from magnolia bakery {if you follow on twitter, perhaps you've already seen this}.

Also, congrats to Lisa from lists in my pocket who won the giveaway!  Can't wait to see what you pick!

hope everyone had a relaxing weekend and a fabulous monday!

  7. Woohoo, thanks Carlee! Just made my morning very exciting :) Glad you had a good time in NY!

P.S. I'll be in Portsmouth, NH in 2 weeks for a wedding up in Portland, ME. (So far away!) Do you know Portsmouth well, and if so, can you give us any restaurant recommendations?

  14. SAMI~I've tried their recipe about 4 years ago and thought it was a bit dry...which actually had me curious if it was just my baking or the recipe. I thought theirs were just a bit dry too. I wonder if anyone else thinks that? Otherwise they are delicious!

Wild & Precious~Red velvet, chocolate chocolate, vanilla vanilla and chocolate vanilla. very tasty!

Lisa~I've only been to Portsmouth a few times. But I LOVE the brewery there. If you like clams, order the curried ones! We get them every time and love them~ also, hit up bliss for a bit of shopping! and lastly, grab ice cream in the ally, ask someone where it is. can't think of the name!

Haircutting in high heels~yes, i went to the one on bleecker street, their first shop. very cute!

design actually~ I DID! I adored babycakes. I will post more on them soon!
