1. Very excited that Jamie's new online store is finally open: 2. I'm taking a quick trip to NYC this weekend, I might need to stop here just to check it out. AND would love any other suggestions of your favorite places...
3. Summer isn't over just yet...and I don't think I've had enough Sangria. I would like to try this recipe out that Tiffany just sent over.
4. Since Montreal is only a 5 hour drive from Boston, I'm planning a last minute trip and would LOVE if anyone has any suggestions to add to my list.
5. and lastly, this inspiration board has me longing for Fall. Although I don't want to rush it {see # 3}, I am looking forward to cozy sweaters, boots, cider, apple picking and to see the leaves change here in New England. What about you? Are you ready for Fall?
fall, yes. winter, not really
ReplyDeleteIt's not the easiest place in the world to get into (genuine-speakeasy-style difficulty level, though so worth it), but try to have a swank cocktail at PDT on St. Mark's.
ReplyDeleteThe name is short for Please Don't Tell, and oops!
Montreal is fun- I went 2x when I was at Syracuse. I've always wante to stop on the way on 1000 islands and go to the top of a tower. I forget where it is though!

ReplyDeleteHave fun in NYC and I am super jealous about Montreal. I want a full report. I really want to go to Montreal. My parents went and my mom loved it.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Montreal!! Visit old Montreal, and be wary of the cab drivers, they are insane and very fast! Do lots of walking, there are some fabulous little restaurants tucked into cobblestone streets! xx
ReplyDeleteIf only I can visit Montreal! Maybe one day :) but other than that I LOVE the glass table on the second image! love it!! :)
ReplyDeletethe drink looks delicious!!!
ReplyDeleteI just heard that the Tribeca Grand Hotel is doing a showing of Mad Men on Sundays at 10:00pm with old fashioned cocktails, etc. I think that could be really fun! Also, I started to get excited for fall last week when I got the new LLBean Signature catalog in the mail. This new line by LLBean has some great and affordable clothes for fall. Here's a link:

Have fun in NYC!
I adore the soft browns and yellows of the Autumn leaves - a picture-perfect season. Montreal is such a stylish city, too. I have fond memories of that city.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your city visits and be happy;-)
So ready for fall. So glad you mentioned it...have been thinking of it a lot lately. NYC has my very favorite travel store for getting yourself organized. Flight 001

Have a wonderful trip.
For your nex New York trip; Bubble Lounge http://www.bubblelounge.com/ in Tribeca and Campbell Apartment www.hospitalityholdings.com/ in Grand Central Terminal were some of the best NYC cocktail lounges I have enjoyed.
ReplyDeleteUrban Archaeology on Franklin street in Tribeca is very interesting, upscale "salvage" store. http://www.urbanarchaeology.com/
