stacks.

My magazine piles are beginning to take over our house.  I seriously need to get a grip.  I'm adding it to my to do list for after files, along with that closet...

How about you?  Are yours neatly tucked away in file folders? Or are you letting them all stack up like me?

  6. I try to go through my magazines as soon as I get them. I rip out the ideas I love the most and recycle the rest of the mag. Unless the entire magazine is worth keeping.

  7. I've made a conscious effort this year to read my magazines, remove and file any articles that I want to keep then either recycle or give the magazines to a friend who works at a hospital. She and her co-workers appreciate having new magazines in the staff lounge.

  11. My bedside table practically sags at the moment from the weight of them; I've got to get mine under control too but there is something about having them at arms length right before dozing that is so comfy! Lot this pic btw

  13. Stacks of books and magazines are seemingly everywhere in my office, bedroom and living room. While I do have the majority of my magazines organized in metal file folders, there are never enough of these for all of the magazines. Oh well, I'm just glad I have so many resources for inspiration. =)

  14. I have a pretty good stack of 2 months worth on the shelf under my giant coffee table, but after 2 months I toss all except my Martha Stewarts, which go in magazine boxes labeled by season. I go back to them year after year for seasonal ideas.

  15. You've hit it right on the money for me, I seriously have a problem with magazines. I have been pretty good and keeping a binder with ripped out pages in order to keep some of it organized but I still have tons. I have managed to keep in under control when I moved a couple years back, I had magazines everywhere, all my friends made fun of me. But hey, it's my thing. I do keep the best, I have all my Domino and Living Etc, as well as Elle Decor UK, Elle Decor and Met Home... I can't part with them. They are throughout my apartment in bookshelves, magazine holders and nicely styled.

  17. There are some magazines that I keep intact - Country Living, Coastal Living. But others, I rip out articles or tidbits that interest me then sort them by category in a divided portfolio thingey I purchased at Target.
