around the neighborhood

Took a little walk today to Beacon Hill.  I couldn't believe how different the Charles looked from earlier in the week...

After that photo my little camera died...but anyway, we ended up on Chestnut Street at Koo de Kir

The iphone does not do this place justice!  It is such a lovely hidden store.  Lots of delicious lighting:

and gorgeous pillows made by local, Seema Krish

would have loved to take home one of each!

and a ton of other wonderful goods...

loved these framed quotes too

Ended the walk at Figs...very tasty.

You must stop by these places if you're ever in Boston!

  4. When I was about 6 months pregnant, I was craving clam chowder very hard. So, I joked with the hubby that he drive me up to Boston so I could have some original Boston Clam Chowder. Now, don't you know he calls in sick from work that day and we actually do drive the 4 hours from NYC to Boston just so I could have some chowder. Afterward we walked through the parks that flank the Charles river. It was a nice day. Now that is a great hubby! LOL!

I love those pillows. That place looks terrific. Gonna have to take another trip to Beantown...
