missed the party

Yesterday while in class I missed the BIG Lonny Magazine launch party that happened around here in the blog world. I finally had a chance to look at this delicious new online magazine and I feel like Christmas came early this year! I'm going to need hours to go through it again. LOVE IT!!! What a treat that Michelle Green & Patrick Cline have brought to us! Very exciting!

I'm writing a column for my school's online journal and I would LOVE to hear your feedback on the mag. If you have time, leave me a comment and let me know what your favorite part about this new mag is. I would be thrilled to cover what the design bloggers out there think...in addition to how amazing this magazine is!

Happy Friday!

  2. I absolutely LOVE the new magazine. And the best part of all? When you see something you like, you can click on it and it takes you immediately to the companies website! Genius!

  5. I have to agree with maryjayne...that is one of the best things. I also loved that a lot of the advertisers were blogs! It is always great to find a new blog that you had not yet discovered!

  6. As far as the design, I love the fact that Lonny (like Domino) focuses on accessible style and it's all about expressing your own style. I also love the fact that the magazine is so hooked into the design blogger community.

  8. My favorite thing about this magazine is that it is online and there are no restrictions to page numbers etc. Meaning that less gets edited out and there can be 20 delicious pages of a featured home, more eye candy to love for me!

  9. I love so many things about the mag. The clickable links are a new and fun way to view a shelter mag, plus I agree with LindsB, there are no page limit restrictions which allows them room to give readers a rich, indepth look into thier featured homes which I loved!

  10. I love everything about the mag! Other than the featured articles (which are amazing), I love the styles and pages in the beginning that brought in a bit of fashion as well.

  12. Love, love love it!! The only that could make it better would be a nice shiny copy in my hands. I still like to hold a magazine and flip through it over and over, while in bed. I would pay big money to have a hard copy.
