A few weeks ago I forced myself to tackle under the counter in our kitchen. Believe it or not, when we first moved in it was organized! I swear. But, like anything else, over time, it became a catch all in our small apartment. Don't stare too long, I'm not sure what you'll see.
this is where I'm at now:
Sorry, no pretty pics for this project (snapped with the iphone). But I thought I'd share any way. I think the best part is I hung all the BBQ tools on the side of the wall with 3M hooks. They were a pain to dig out before...and the dedicated space for organizing tools (little painting trays that I use for small items and little box/baskets for other projects). Lastly, I can easily grab a vase for flowers now instead of getting frustrated taking everything out to find one!
Looks nice. I love the challenge of organizing when working in a small space. Helps your mind clutter too. The hanging b-b-q tools is genious. I'm doing this in my pantry. My hubby will have no more excuses!! Thanks

I love the tools hanging on 3M hooks ideas! I may have to do that myself!
ReplyDeleteAmazing what one can do when they just take the time to carefully give attention. The little details make all the difference, right! The bbq tools hung look like jewelry~

Ugg, I was just thinking of the mess underneath my sink! I definitely need to do a little makeover like this for myself sometime soon. Thanks for the inspiration! :)
ReplyDeleteCarlee,
ReplyDeletepopping the card in the mail to you first thing in the am. A little something you wished for.....every bride needs a little wish come true :)

Under your sink is another great spot for Fridge Coasters!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes you are just too busy 'doing' to take photos of the process. I'm always wondering to buy those metal shelves, think I might have to get them. Great job on the cupboard. You've inspired me to get organised!
ReplyDeleteLove the 3M hooks for the BBQ utensils! I am totally going to do that! No more cursing at the BBQ utensils anymore! Yahoo!
ReplyDeleteGetting organized feels good, doesn't it?

The mess underneath our sink has recently come to the forefront of my mind when our sink was leaking! We had tons of junk under there that we need to get organized!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I'm going to have to do a little "behind the pantry door" project, myself.
