spring cupcakes

This past weekend I celebrated two family Birthdays back in my hometown. Which means... I made cupcakes ! Inspired by the start of Spring, I dyed my frosting a lilac and made a quick topper to match.
Happy Birthday to my cousin Breanna & brother Derek!

Happy Spring!

  8. I love the violet frosting!!! Why is it so glossy? Is it one of those 7 min frosting you make on a double boiler???

I have several family members who've just had birthdays - never eaten so much cake in my life!
