apple crisp.

I thought I would share the steps to the apple crisp I made last night for the few {like me} who haven't made one yet.  Thanks to reader Allison, I now have a recipe I will keep forever.  Both my fiance and I could not stop talking about it.  It truly is that delicious.

Here are the instructions from Allison's Grandmother's recipe {along with a few pictures}.

*Peel and slice apples {about 4 cups, fill the dish you're using}
*Stir in 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tbsp flour and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon to cover all slices {I mixed in a bowl first, and then added mixture to the apples}

*Mix together 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup butter, 1/8 tsp baking powder, 1/8 tsp baking soda

*Spoon the mixture over the apples and bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes

 Enjoy!

Next I'm trying a pie...if you're not that into apple recipes, I would say hit read in your reader this week.  If you are, hopefully you'll like what you see...

Can't let all these apples go to waste...
