color break

While looking at all the beautiful rugs and pillows on One Kings Lane, {that I have no business buying...tell me you do this too?}, I came across the designer Hillary Thomas. I'm having a crazy school week, midterms are coming up and things are getting nuts...so I had a nice break soaking up her portfolio.  I truly enjoyed seeing the bright pops of color in her work today!  I can't remember if these images have been around in the blog world before...but here are a few of my favorites.

Perfect touch of color in this entry.  Those benches are fabulous!

This image screams Spring, adore this piece!

I LOVE this chair!

The arch on that black door is spectacular.

Aren't the bright books such a wonderful addition?

Really into the orange walls here...I typically wouldn't imagine myself painting/wallpapering a wall orange.

In addition to these rooms, she also designs a divine line of bedding for children

Makes me want to bring a lot more color into my home!

  13. Oh I love this post. It just reminds me to hold out for really inspiring, unique, and fabulous pieces of furniture rather than waste my hard earned money on just all right stuff. I love everything in the pictures!

  15. I was considering a pumpkin like shade for our den - at least a wall. Not sure if orange is in the "makes you more productive and spend less time blogging" color spectrum, but I love it!

  22. That is a brilliant shade of orange, at least on the screen, it looks not too bright but not too peachy. I tried (half-succeeded) to paint my room coral once because it looked so lovely with white roses in a film I'd just seen! But pale oranges can be so good with white aswell, I think they are very underused. Shhsh! Don't tell anyone!!
