I came across this deliciously organized office/work space and really wanted to share it with you all. I think this unit is perfect for this area and the owner styled it well. I found this photograph on Chez Larsson, a new blog to me. As an avid organizer, I have really enjoyed browsing her blog! She has some lovely organization projects with before and after photographs. Below is her crafting area:
I'm currently in the process of organizing my crafting tools and have found her site inspiring.
I've found a few inspiring photos from Miss Martha too:
perfect little labels
ohhh and speaking of Martha, if you're interested in her craft tools, she is doing a giveaway for a set of 24 glitters here.
Lastly a little inspiration from pegboards, which are a great way to organize crafting tools if you have the wall space:
and if you don't have the wall space, you could always frame out a smaller one:
I hope you've found a little inspiration here to organize your crafting supplies/tools and if you don't craft, hopefully the photographs were in some way enjoyable?!
Happy Friday!
OK, I am totally lusting after all of those spaces. I remember the first time I saw that craft room of Martha- OMGG!!

ReplyDeleteThose red cabinets..are they wood or metal? My DH has an old metal cabinet that was originally used for tab card storage where he worked for 36 yrs. for a famous magazine. Whenever they made changes, and bought new office furniture and equipment, the employees were allowed to buy them at great prices, almost give away prices. He keeps lots of things in this cabinet drawers, and every time you need to look for something, you end up pulling open each drawer until you find what you are looking for. When I saw your cabinet, a light bulb went off in my head...why not use either cardstock or file cards and label them? It would be neat to have them a bright color like you have or anything but metal grey. How did you paint them? He'll kick and scream and fight me with my idea because there is a lot of work involved and he's not up to it. If they would fit, turned around another way, they would be easier to get to, and give more room on another garage wall. In order to move the heavy cabinet, we need to remove every single drawer and they are heavy. "I might be biting off more than I can chew here," but it would be worth it I think. I'm going to at least label them for him and myself. He sort of knows about what is in the drawers but since they are not labeled, he has to hunt through each one just like I do. " He needs to work smarter, not harder!"
