I am diggin it! Love Lucite...and zebra can be tricky, but all is done well in your images!
Ok the 2nd image with that gorgeous sofa, where on earth do you find a lamp like the one shown there in black? I have been seeing them everywhere, but a store! Help?! Any Ideas.
Love the second and third picture! I think zebra, or any animal print for that matter, can be chic and classic as long as it is subtle - rug, pillows, one piece of furniture in a room, or throw pillows. And I love lucite too, I am currently obsessed with king louis ghost chairs! Great pics, thanks for sharing =)
unless it's in a Ralph Lauren scene, zebra is not my thing. I think it is because I worked for a design firm in Atlanta. And in Atlanta in 2003, traditional interiors with a splash of animal print was apparently the thing. It was so overdone that I got sick of it fast. I still like animal print clothing:) Ask me next week and I'll probably have a different opinion. Come over next week and sew ruffle t-shirts with me!
Loving the 2nd and 3rd images! And I think a little bit goes a LONG way. I do, however, love a little splash of lucite/zebra mixed with the ubertraditional. I worked as an ID in Atlanta too, and that was DEFINITELY the thing in 2002-2004, but I still really like it. BC the jobs we were doing were so 'high design', sortof like the runway shows you see...it take a few years for it to trickle down and to become actually wearable for everyday.
I still love Zebra and lucite. The last picture with the seat and the lucite table is really pretty. I also love the navy and pink with the zebra and lucite. Thanks for sharing!
