giveaway time!

Well, Tiffany had her first post yesterday! What did you all think? I have to say that she is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G at makeup and has done my makeup for a ton of events. If you ever have any questions about makeup she is the one to go to, so we thought it would be best if we introduced her with one of her specialties for her first post.

Onto the giveaway...

In honor of Tiffany joining the blog, we are giving away one of her favorite eye shadows listed in her last post, MAC's Trax eyeshadow! I can also say it's one of my favorites! I've been using it for years and never tire of it.

Leave a comment with your favorite beauty product, your information and follow us {if you're so inclined}...we will choose the name at random on Thursday, August 27!

Good Luck!

  1. Cool giveaway! Tiffany did do a nice post yesterday...I love makeup and think I am fairly good at it, but it would be nice to have it done everyday :)

One of my fave beauty products is DuWop Lip Venom Gloss. It's a colored lip gloss w/ a hint of the "venom" but not too much where you think your lips will burn off! Great selection of colors and the gloss lasts well.

  2. I will have to try that one! thanks for the tip!

  3. Looove trax! I like the idea of layering the eyeliner...mine always comes off!
My fav product is Benefit's a light pink liquid color for cheeks and lips...the one thing I always use when I don't have time to do anything else!!! And it stays all day!

  4. Thanks Jaime for the post compliment! I do want to try that lip gloss. I love lip glosses that tingle!

And layering eyeshadow over eyeliner really helps make the look last longer, and gives it more of a smokey matte look!

    Thanks girls! xoxo

  5. Great giveaway! My favorite product is definitely mascara (I don't leave home without it). I've been experimenting with brands lately, but I usually go with Loreal's Volumnious masacara. I've bought one mascara from Lacome that I really liked too. Any other suggestions? I just noticed from a previous post that you list another brand that you like.

  6. MAC has the best colors -- so vivid and long lasting!
What's a pretty done face without good and healthy skin texture? I find that makeup always looks best on healthy skin and for that I 100% recommend Origins. I personally use their Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash, United State Toner and A Balanced Diet Moisturizer. I tend to have combination skin and these three simple products have done wonders for my skin. No matter your skin type, I am sure you will fall in love with their products and hence, your makeup'ed face! (*I promise I don't work for Origins, I just love a good thing when I see it!)

  7. Ghazalie-cool name! I am totally going to try the Origins products because I also have combination skin; its soo annoying! I also love Epicuren products but can't afford them right now, although I really do love them. Between using Epicuren and getting regular microdermabrations,my skin seriously did a 180 turn for the better! Thanks for the tips from all you girls; love it!

  8. Great giveaway- thanks for the chance! My fav tried and true cheap-o beauty product is covergirl's eyshadow trio in shimmering sands. The highlight shade is the perfect just-bright-enough shade to wake up my sleepy mommy eyes!

  9. Another great tip for sleepy eyes; white eyeliner. Line the inside corners with a nice thick amount and then brush a little white/neutral shimmer/eyeshadow over it and your eyes will look so much more awake. It brings the white out in your eyes, making light reflect from the inner corners!

  10. Thanks! You'll love Origins ... it feels so clean and for the most part their products are VERY affordable. I have been to numerous dermatologists and paid a pretty penny each time ... none of their Rx face washes or ointments ever made my skin feel so soft and CLEAN as did the 3 products I previously mentioned. I dare you to not get hooked!!
