{june} + random musings!

June will forever be an exciting month in our lives!  This year we will get married and then both turn the big 3-0 all in the month of June (and all within a week of each other)!  Photograph above is from a trip to Spain, Italy & France we did back in June 2008 for our birthdays.

And, instead of just posting a pic of us and leaving the post short and sweet, I am including some other ridiculous tidbits for your viewing pleasure...

One thing Chris & I did on this trip is collect postcards from every city we visited on our trip (2 weeks, 3 countries- we came home with a TON) and when I got home I framed some of our favorites: 

and then put the frame above our bed (back in Boston) and thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread:

and, here is that same frame now (well, shot from last year, but frame still looks the same)

Isn't it crazy how quickly we change something we created that meant so much to us, into something new? Do you have a special piece of art that you created (in the past few years) that now you can't stand to look at? Would love to hear I'm not the only one :)
