I just adore this framed romper from Amanda Nisbet Design, isn't it such a sweet touch to this room?
What are your thoughts on rompers? Would you only frame one? Or do you/would you wear one?
If so, do you wear yours a bit girlie with heels?
or keep it more simple?
If it's not your thing, what is one of your favorite summer basics?
tube dress & jean jacket, though i rarely wear either anymore (isn't that funny).
ReplyDeletea white summer dress and sandals.
ReplyDeleteI love the framed romper! Eddie Ross did a room where he framed baby clothes, and it was the cutest thing ever.
ReplyDeleteI wore rompers all last summer with gladiator sandals. Perfect for the Texas heat!
I do think framed baby clothes are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI can see my 5'10" leggy daughter wearing any of those looks. Lovely and stylish.
I'm living in tanks, camis, and shirts this summer.

I absolutely love rompers! I am in search for the perfect one for summer!
ReplyDeletei love rompers! they are the easiest thing to throw on when you don't have time to get dressed. i don't know about framing one but i wear my navy romper all the time.
ReplyDeleteOooh, i love Amanda's work - she's brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI love playsuits-cute framing!
Maxi dresses are my summer staple, cami's and denim shorts... It's way hot in Greece already!

p.s Congrats on Graduating lovely!
A romper sort of brings back bad memories of gym, and having to wear one that sort of looked like a prison one piece. I do love rompers and I think m daughter would look sweet at age 10. My summer go to are dresses, prints - I just bought a Kate Spade dress which I love.

Love bubble rompers for babies. Just bought 2 from kit + lili for my best friend's baby shower. They're adorable! Glad you're back!
ReplyDeleteI love the simple black romper in your pictures. Unfortunately, at nearly 5'8 I have a long torso as opposed to long legs so can never find them long enough in the body for me.
ReplyDeleteMy summer must-haves? Maxi dresses!
I did a buy a really casual black romper for summer. I had planned on wearing it but maybe I should frame it instead :)
ReplyDeleteI think I'm passed my romper wearing days, but I loved the framed one. Most of my summer clothes are from JCrew - tanks, tissue Ts, summer dresses and capris. I'm so glad the weather is supposed to be a little cooler this weekend.
ReplyDeletewear it. I'm hot
ReplyDeleteI wish I could pull one off- but don't think I could! My sister has one and looks precious in it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE rompers they're quick, easy and great for summer!!! Can you pleeeaassee tell me where you found that cute little nude ruffled one?
ReplyDeleteLynett, you can get it at Arden B. They actually have a lot of cute choices!

love that navy one. not sure i could pull it off, but i'd probably try! with really fun jewelry!
ReplyDeleteLove the last look with the gray purse. Comfy and chic at the same time. I'm definitely a fan of the romper!
ReplyDeleteObsessed with rompers...I have like 5 and I saw 2 more at Target yesterday I wanted...I resisted lol. And I also will take that MJ bag, please :)
ReplyDeleteI want to go shopping so bad..loving the navy outfit!!
ReplyDeleteThat totally looks like a Carlee outfit!
ReplyDeleteFirst, I should tell the story about how I was in court yesterday (I'm a lawyer) and I saw this larger woman with a teeny teeny romper on and really high heels. She looked like a prostitute and I can't get that picture out of my mind every time I think about a romper. With that said, I think you really have to have the right body type to wear a romper, I don't have it.
ReplyDeleteLOVE them! They are the perfect throw on summer outfit.
ReplyDeleteBoth! Love both looks! I have a couple in my closet and they are a must for summer! -Jami
ReplyDeleteHaha! I just wrote my own blog post about rompers! I really want one, but not sure what kind. Where is the navy one from?
ReplyDeleteI have a totally irrational attitude towards rompers - I always feel cheated that they aren't dresses. I won't go on for fear of sounding really bizarre, but they just don't do it for me - although I see other ladies looking amazing in theirs.
ReplyDeleteI'll admit, I had mixed feelings. Until, I found one at Urban a couple weeks ago. Its really all about the perfect fit.
ReplyDeleteI do wear them. But I don't have any cute enough to frame. Love how it looks in the pic though!
