This post is a prime example of why I am so excited to start this series! Last year at Target, I broke the # 1 habit on the list. I don't typically pick up deals in the $1 bins there, instead I just fly right past them. But they were selling these baby pots with seeds and I had to grab a few. Going through my cabinets for the series...I found this jar with the seeds still in their packages! By the way, that was again last Spring. I'm seriously embarrassed!
I knew that if I was going to take this next couple of months seriously, I had to make a choice. 1. Throw them out or 2. Plant them that second.
So I did...
and not only did it take me less than five minutes, but it feels so good to know that I got them planted instead of throwing them out! I'm also eager to see if they actually grow!
I'm thrilled by the responses on the upcoming series! It will start this Monday! If you're participating, are you still ready to get started?
Yay... I am going to go out and get my basil seeds today :)
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing those last year at target, and actually contemplated putting them in my cart. I am so disappointed I didn't, they look so cute!

ReplyDeleteAnd, just so you know, I have a huge tray of seeds and the little pots that have been in my kitchen for over a month....wrapped in plastic. I'm doing something about it tomorrow (Saturday) while my husband is working on his "little" project. Building a deck! :)
Thanks for the inspiration. I look forward to reading you soon.
