Shiny Disco

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  I'm finally back in Boston after a nice week in California and I'm ready to take down Christmas and get ready for NYE.  Not sure what my plans are this year...but I LOVE NYE! The sparkle, the glam and everything else involved.  It's the one time of the year when you can get away with looking like a shiny disco ball and decorating around one!  Here are a few rooms that reflect some NYE spirit and a couple of accessories...

Also, I picked out this Dwell Studio pillow when I won an All Modern giveaway on Strictly Simple Style {thank you!} and I think it could pass for a little of that glam, it just arrived and I have no idea where I'll put it!

I can't believe it's almost 2010. Wow! I hope to have some more posts out by the end of the year...with all the traveling I ended up under the weather...but hope to feel better soon and get back to emails!

    hahaha...I feel like I don't take advantage of the sparkles enough. I've never done a really crazy shiny outfit...bummer. Maybe some day!

    Hope you get to feeling better soon. I know that you hated to leave the nice weather in California to go back to Boston. I know I would. I love the gray headboard. That whole room is lovely.
